Sal Guatieri has over fifteen years experience as a macroeconomist and financial markets forecaster. Since joining BMO Financial Group in 1994, his main responsibilities have included analyzing and forecasting the Canadian and US economies, interest rates and exchange rates. Before joining BMO, Sal worked as an economist at the Bank of Canada. Sal earned a Masters degree in Economics from Queen’s University in 1990, and has been the Secretary for the Toronto Association for Business Economics since 2000.
