Investment Objectives
The Fund’s goal is to generate a high level of interest income by investing primarily in high yield bonds and debentures issued by North American governments and corporations denominated in Canadian and U.S. dollars as well as convertible debentures.
How this Fund Works
A protected deposit note (PDN) provides 100% principal protection over the term of the note while also providing the potential for enhanced returns by having exposure to an underlying basket of securities. This PDN provides some exposure to BMO Guardian High Yield Bond Fund, which invests in high yield bonds.
